Konnor DeJean
Program Director
Konnor DeJean is a proud native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a graduate of Warren Easton Charter High School and Louisiana Christian University, where he distinguished himself as both a student and collegiate basketball player. In the summer of 2025, he earned his degree in Exercise Sports and Science, combining his passion for athletics with his commitment to youth development and community impact.
Driven by a desire to give back to the city that shaped him, Konnor aspires to become a mentor and athletic trainer dedicated to empowering young people throughout the New Orleans community. His mission extends far beyond sports — he is committed to helping youth build confidence, discipline, leadership, and life skills that will prepare them for success both on and off the court.
Konnor believes every child deserves access to positive role models, meaningful opportunities, and strong support systems. Growing up, he recognized the lack of exposure many young people had to mentors and college athletes who could provide guidance, inspiration, and real-world perspective. That experience fuels his passion for creating opportunities that encourage growth, elevate potential, and inspire the next generation to pursue their dreams without limitations.
Through mentorship, community engagement, and athletic development, Konnor is dedicated to making a lasting impact by helping young people realize their value, strengthen their character, and achieve goals they once believed were out of reach.
